22x30 all have 4 subtle colors that appear to be B and W, but they are NOT. They are created in a process that is akin to nature. I have ONE shot to make each one and they either be created or they die.
I have included TWO "failures"...can you tell which ones?
AND more importantly to me, can you say why?
Be well, Tom
{PS: Charles, I didn't see your post???? Try again?
And Does anyone have Andrea's email?)

When I look at your work, in general, and in these as well, I find myself looking, searching, trying to discern the discernible in the field of color or not-color. I search and look, tilting my head to try to fine a house, a tree, a sky, a face, a person, a coffee cup. I travel around the piece for a while, becoming a bit more in need of familiarity with each turn around the track. I don't know what to do when I can't find it. I try to settle into fields of satisfying abstraction, but am not able to. I WANT the familiar, the known, the comfortable. (I am we'll aware this says a LOT more about me than about your art! But you asked for responses, so I thought I'd give you mine... Hope it's helpful at some level..)
